Halloween Happenings

Halloween was a blast this year as the boys are getting old enough to start choosing their costumes and actually enjoy getting dressed up!  We had lots of fun in the week leading up to trick or treating.

The Saturday before Halloween we had our 2nd annual neighborhood parade and picnic.  The weather was beautiful!  It was sixty and sunny... a perfect day for parading and eating pizza.  Ethan and his buddy across the street both dressed as Jake and spent the afternoon chasing each other with swords.

The past three years it has been rainy and cold on Halloween... and this year was no exception.  It surely did not stop our little Captain Hook and Jake from trekking around the neighborhood to collect treats at every single house.  They had a blast!

Ben stayed home in the nice warm house and went to bed.  The next day I forced them back into their costumes for a photo shoot. They were thrilled!

I took as many pictures as I could of my sweet little pumpkin!

Halloween has never been one of my favorite holidays, but with littles it sure is fun.  I look forward to many more years of silly boys in cute costumes!  Happy Halloween!
